Importance of Authentic Knowledge
إِنَّ هَذَا العِلْمَ دِيْنٌ؛ فَانْظُرُواْ عَمَّنْ تَأخُذُوْنَ دِيْنَكُمْ
“Indeed this knowledge is religion, so be careful with regards to whom you take your religion from.” – Imaam Muhammad bin Sireen Rahimahullah (Sahih Muslim)
In today’s digital age, the abundance of information available at our fingertips is both a blessing and a challenge. It is crucial to ensure that the information we consume is authentic, as inauthentic information can lead to misunderstandings and misinformation, which can be harmful in matters of our religious life.
To support the community in accessing authentic Islamic knowledge, As Suffah Academy offers physical copies of selected Islamic literature for free.
The leaflets are mostly authored by Shaykhul-Hadīth, Hadhrat Mawlānā Muhammad Saleem Dhorat hafizahullāh, who is renowned and credible.
There are numerous benefits of having a physical copy such as:
Conciseness: Providing short, easily digestible content.
Referability: Allowing you to refer back to the material whenever needed.
Propagation: Enabling the sharing of knowledge with others as a means of propagation.
Focus: Reducing distractions that often come with reading on digital devices.

40 Salāt and Salām
There are numerous compilations of ṣalāt and salām which our respected elders, ‘Ulamā and pious predecessors used to recite. In this booklet, Islamic Dawah Academy presents from Shaykhul-Ḥadīth Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Muḥammad Zakariyyā (Rahimahullah)’s ‘Virtues of Ṣalāt ‘alan Nabī’, forty ṣalāt and salām which Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Ashraf ‘Alī Thānwī (Rahimahullah) has obtained from the aḥādīth of our beloved Nabī (sallallahu alahi wa sallam); twenty-five refer to ṣalāt and fifteen refer to salām, thus making it a collection of forty aḥādīth.
We Should make an effort to read this every friday.
100 Salat & Salam
One of the blessed collections of ṣalāt and salām is the compilation in the book Zādus-Sa‘īd of Ḥakīmul-Ummah Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Ashraf ‘Alī ṣāḥib (rahimahullah). At the suggestion of Shaykhul-Ḥadīth Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Muḥammad Zakariyyā ṣāḥib (rahimahullah), Ḥaḍrat Ṣūfī Iqbāl ṣāḥib Madanī (rahimahullah) published it separately, under the name Forty Ṣalāt and Salām, and it has since enjoyed untold acceptance.
The beloved and honourable teacher of Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Muhammad Saleem Dhorat (damat barakatuhum), Shaykhul-Ḥadīth Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Islāmul Ḥaqq ṣāḥib (rahimahullah), who is a dweller of Jannatul Baqī‘, appended sixty additional formulae to these and prepared a compilation entitled One Hundred Ṣalāt and Salām. Ḥaḍrat Mawlānā Muhammad Saleem Dhorat (damat barakatuhum) has published a fully referenced and verified edition of this compilation.
The Booklet is split in 7 parts across 7 days, making it easy for us read 100 durood every week.
The Wird of Imām Nawawī
This book is the ‘wird’ of the great, Imām Nawawi which has been transmitted through an authentic chain. In his ‘wird’, Imām Nawawī has, in a very beautiful and effective manner, implored Allāh for protection, goodness and blessings in his Dīn, Dunyā, family, children, wealth and in all aspects of life. This ‘wird’ has been blessed with divine acceptance amongst the pious of the Ummah throughout centuries and numerous pious ‘Ulamā and Mashāyikh have mentioned many benefits of reciting it punctually and have experienced its blessings in their lives too. It is advised that along with one’s recitation of the Glorious Qur’ān and adhkār, it would be highly beneficial if one could include this blessed compilation in his daily practices. If not daily, then one should endeavour to recite it weekly, monthly or at least on blessed days or nights of the Islamic calendar and when in blessed places.
Al-Istighfār
A compilation of all the formulae of istighfār that appear in the Qur’ān, so that we may seek Allāh’s forgiveness using those most eloquent of words. This compilation may be read at any time and as
often as desired. Keeping in mind the many benefits and virtues istighfār holds, it should be read at least
once daily, if not more frequently. Inshā’allāh, it will bring enormous benefits in both worlds.
