A Garden of Prayers
Level 5
35. Seeking forgiveness and mercy
ربِّ ٱغۡفِرۡ وَٱرۡحَمۡ وَأَنتَ خَيۡرُ ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
O Lord! Grant pardon and have mercy, for You are the best of all the Merciful.
36. Upon leaving a gathering
سُبْحـانَكَ اللّهُـمَّ وَبِحَمدِك، أَشْهَـدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتوبُ إِلَـيْك
O Allah! Glory and praise is for You. I bear witness that there is no-one worthy of worship besides You. I ask forgiveness from you and I turn to you.
37. Du’aa of Hadhrat Musa عليه السلام
رَبِّ اشْرَحْ لِي صَدْرِي
وَيَسِّرْ لِي أَمْرِي
وَاحْلُلْ عُقْدَةً مِنْ لِسَانِي يَفْقَهُوا قَوْلِي
O my Lord! Expand for me my bosom, ease my task for me and remove the knot from my speech so that they may understand what I say.
38. Asking for beneficial knowledge
اَللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ عِلْمٍ لَا يَنْفَعُ
O Allah! I ask You for knowledge that is beneficial and i seek you protection from the knowledge that is not useful.
39. Breaking a fast
اللَّهُمَّ لَكَ صُمْتُ وَعَلَى رِزْقِكَ أَفْطَرْتُ
O Allah! I kept a fast for You and i break my fast on Your sustenance.
40. Standing in Qawmah, after Rukoo (2)
رَبَّنَا وَلَكَ الْحَمْدُ حَمْدًا كَثِيرًا طَيِّبًا مُبَارَكًا فِيهِ
Our Lord! All praise is to You, abundant, pure and blessed praise.
41. Du’aa for Parents
رَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا
My Lord! Be merciful to them as they have brought me up in my childhood.
42. Wearing NEW clothes
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي كَسَانِي مَا أُوَارِي بِهِ عَوْرَتِي وَأَتَجَمَّلُ بِهِ فِي حَيَاتِي
All praise is for Allah, who clothed me with that through which i cover my modesty and adorn myself in my life.
43. Seeing another person wearing NEW clothes
تُبْلِي وَيُخْلِفُ اللهُ تَعَالَى
May you wear it out and Allah replace it with another.
44. Du’aa to read in the Morning
اللّهُـمَّ بِكَ أَصْـبَحْنا وَبِكَ أَمْسَـينا ، وَبِكَ نَحْـيا وَبِكَ نَمُـوتُ وَإِلَـيْكَ المَصِيْر
O Allah! With Your help we start the day and start the night. With Your help we live and die. To You is the return.
Du’aa to read in the Evening
اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا وَبِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ
O Allah! With your help we start the night and start the day. With Your help we live and die. To You is the return.
45. Eating at somebody else’s house as a guest (2)
اللَّهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَهُمْ فِيمَا رَزَقْتَهُمْ ، وَاغْفِرْ لَهُمْ وَارْحَمْهُمْ
O Allah! Bless them with what You have provided them with, forgive them and have mercy on them.
46. Leaving the house (2)
اَللَّهُـمَّ إِنِّي أَعُـوذُ بِكَ أَنْ أَضِـلَّ أَوْ أُضَـلَّ، أَوْ أَزِلَّ أَوْ أُزَلَّ، أَوْ أَظْلِـمَ أَوْ أَُظْلَـمَ، أَوْ أَجْهَلَ أَوْ يُـجْهَلَ عَلَـيَّ
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from misleading or being mislead, causing other to err or being caused to err, oppressing or being oppressed, from being ignorant or bearing the result of ignorance.
Drinking Zam zam water
اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ عِلْمَاً نَافِعَاًً وَرِزْقَاً وَاسِعَاًَ وَشِفَاءً مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ
O Allah I seek of You beneficial knowledge, plentiful provision and cure from all diseases.
Seeing another smile
أَضْحَكَ اللهُ سِنَّكَ
May Allah keep you cheerful.
